We admired this doe as a dry yearling at our County Fair last year, then made the decision to purchase her after seeing her again at the County Fair as a first freshening two year-old. She is a doe who excels in strength of general appearance
being upstanding in the front end, with sharp shoulders, length of body and levelness throughout, combined with strength of feet and legs. She also exhibits dairyness, being open and angular with a long, lean neck and pliability of skin. Her mammary is very capacious, milking over 9 lbs. on her first test after joining the herd in September.
After the untimely death of
Terraza, we were thrilled to have had the opportunity to add this
Full Throttle daughter to the herd. Even though Annie has a different herd name, her granddam was one of our does, bred back to our herd sires to produce Annie. We also purchased Annie's daughter,
Ivy, from 2008 sired by
Excalade, who will be one of our junior yearlings
in 2009.
